By volunteering with us, you'll play a vital role in supporting a diverse array of films and artists as they share their compelling stories with audiences worldwide. what volunteer positions are available?
Greeters: Extend a warm welcome to our patrons and act as a friendly guide, ensuring they find their way to their intended destinations.
Event Support Team Members & Coordinators: The responsibilities will encompass preparing, dismantling, tidying, and ensuring upkeep both prior to, during, and following our special events.
Sponsor Liaisons: As Sponsor Liaisons, you will play a crucial role in delivering on-site assistance to sponsors for any on-site events. Your duties will involve facilitating the setup of sponsor activations, managing activation requirements, serving as the primary contact point for sponsors during designated events, and addressing any unique requests or requirements from sponsors.
street team: Interested in contributing before the festival or any event kicks off? Help spread the word by distributing marketing materials (posters, postcards, window cards, etc.) throughout Metro Atlanta. For more info click here
Ushers: Ushers will be positioned inside the theater during respective events to guide guests to their designated seats with care and assistance.
Venue Captain: The Captains fulfill the role of overseeing volunteers within each department and venue. Their responsibilities include monitoring the arrival and departure times of volunteers throughout events. They are required to commit to a minimum of three approximately 8-hour shifts and may be called upon to undertake additional duties and time commitments as needed to effectively fulfill their roles. Captains are integral to ensuring that events are operating seamlessly.
Workshop Attendants: Workshop attendants will be stationed at the entrance to verify the credentials of workshop participants.

Our team and volunteers serve as invaluable assets, embodying the essence of our festival. As a volunteer, you are often the initial and final impression of The Online Box Office Film Festival.

I understand that while volunteering I must abide by established COVID guidelines and testing protocol.

I understand volunteers are unpaid.

I understand that as a volunteer, I should be polite, courteous and respectful at all times to the OBOFF patrons and fellow volunteers.

I understand as a volunteer, the patron has the priority in seating.

I understand I am required to be in uniform while volunteering and out of uniform when not volunteering.

I understand that the festival is counting on me for the shifts that I am assigned. I will contact my volunteer team lead if an emergency cancellation arises.

I am at least 18 years of age. A parent or guardian must accompany a volunteer younger than 18 years old during their volunteer shift.
